The footpath and two car bays next to the existing toilet block at Signal Park will be closed for the construction of the new Changing Place from 20 November until 22 December 2024

Works to the East Abbey Groyne have now commenced. This groyne is a critical piece of coastal protection but was damaged and in need of replacement.

The City Administration building and the Dunsborough and Busselton Waste facilities will close early on Friday 29 November 2024 from 12.00pm.

Yallingup Ablution Block will be closed for four days from 2 – 6 December 2024 to re-sheet the roof. Temporary toilets will be in place during the works.

Members of the public are advised the following road closures will be in place to facilitate the 2024 Leavers events.

The Busselton White Ribbon Community Event and Silent March will be held on Tuesday 26 November 2024, commencing at Mitchell Park, Busselton at 10.00am.

The Ironman WA event will be held on Sunday 1 December 2024, starting and finishing at the Busselton Foreshore.

The City invites submissions for a proposal to temporarily close Northerly Street from Lynwood Street to Yebble Drive in Vasse.

A road closure will be in place on Naturaliste Terrace, between Dunn Bay Road and Cyrrillean Way Dunsborough on Friday 22 November 2024.

The City of Busselton will be undertaking road resurfacing works at the intersection(s) of Kent Street / Queen Street, and Queen Street / Prince Street from the 10 to 12 December 2024.

Tenders closing at 2,00pm (AWST) on Wednesday 11 December 2024 are invited for the above tender.

Notice of a Special Council Meeting 30 October 2024

The following persons have been appointed by the Chief Executive Officer of the City of Busselton under section 38 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, as Bush Fire Control Officers for the purposes of the Bush Fires Act 1954:

In accordance with Regulation 12(3) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, the City of Busselton hereby gives notice of Waterways Management Committee meetings.

The following Notice is hereby given to all owners and/or occupiers of land within the District of the City of Busselton.

Maintenance will commence at the GLC from Tuesday 24 September to replace existing ceiling tiles with improved moisture-tolerant ones to eliminate sagging tiles that pose safety risks.

In November 2023, Dunsborough Jet Ski Tours were issued a four-month trial permit to operate from designated Public Parking Bays at Quindalup Boat Ramp.

Due to safety concerns the Ability Whirl play equipment on the Busselton Foreshore (opposite Signal Park and West of the Jetty) will be closed until further notice. Our crews are working to supply new equipment and install prior to the 2024 Christmas school holidays.

In order for construction works to commence, the new Chocolate Shop at 25 Marine Terrace (old Tennis Club site) will have a construction fence erected mid-August 2024.

The coastal shared footpath along Bay View Crescent, Dunsborough will be closed for upgrades and coastal consolidation works from 24 June until 26 July 2024 (subject to weather).

Pursuant to Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given that the City of Busselton intends to impose the following Differential Rating categories and their associated rate in the dollar and minimum payments in respect of the 2024/2025 financial year.
