About the Project
Work is underway on the development of a new Sporting Precinct for the Dunsborough community.
The site is located at Lot 40 Dunsborough Lakes Drive, Dunsborough Lakes on land formerly held by the Water Corporation.
The design allows for potential future expansion of the precinct and the facility will be accessible from the future school which will be located on the corner of Dunsborough Lakes Drive and Diamante Boulevard.
We are excited to deliver a new sporting precinct that includes:
- Multi-use soccer / cricket fields including sports lighting
- Four multi-use netball / basketball courts
- New sporting pavilion
- Car parking
The project will be delivered in stages:
- Sports field construction complete.
- Carpark and court construction complete.
- Pavilion location resolved in March 2024.
The City is currently developing the detailed design in consultation with local sporting groups:
- Dunsborough Cricket Club
- Dunsborough Towners Football Club (Senior Soccer)
- Dunsborough Soccer Club (Juniors)
- Dunsborough Coasters Netball
- Dunsborough Basketball Club
- Dunsborough Football Club
This $5.1 million project will be jointly funded by:
- State Government’s Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund
- Federal Government Contribution
- City of Busselton
