Busselton Wave Buoy Network

The Busselton Wave Buoy Network was established by the University of Western Australia and is now live.

There are three Sofar Ocean wave buoys (Dunsborough, Abbey and Busselton Jetty)  that record and transmit data at half hour intervals via satellites for:

  • Wave height and direction
  • Wind strength and direction
  • Water temperature and air pressure

Please read the Public Terms of Use below before accessing the data.
