Footpath Upgrade Prince Regent Drive

Published on Monday, 31 March 2025 at 12:35:02 PM

The City of Busselton will be upgrading the footpath on Prince Regent Drive shortly to improve access to the Power Centre shopping complex in West Busselton.

A new footpath will be installed from the roundabout at Prince Regent Drive and Shannon Place, and will extend to the public access way that connects Prince Regent Drive and Court Street. This footpath will include kerbing which matches the existing footpath kerbing on the footpath constructed in 2023.

These footpath works are scheduled to start in early April, with completion planned by end of May. Construction will occur from 7.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, with the potential of some work on Saturdays. We will not be undertaking works during the Easter long weekend or on the ANZAC Day public holiday. Temporary traffic management arrangements will be in place during working hours, with roads fully open during evenings and weekends.

Please park on the road side in this area until the works are complete. If the works are going to directly impact your property, our site supervisor will contact you to ensure prior notice is given and to discuss appropriate temporary parking arrangements. Once the footpath has been constructed, there will still be a 48 hour curing period for the new footpath to fully set, so to ensure the highest quality finish please avoid driving over the new path during this period, and where possible please also avoid walking on it.

Every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience, and your patience and cooperation is appreciated.
