The City will be welcoming the cruise ship the Norwegian Spirit on Wednesday 10 December 2025. To facilitate the movement of cruise passengers and staff in and around the foreshore and CBD area, the following temporary road closures will be in effect;

In accordance with Regulation 12(4) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, the City of Busselton hereby gives notice of a Special Council Meeting.

The City of Busselton gives notice that the Community Access Session scheduled for 5:30pm on Wednesday, 3 December 2025 has been cancelled.

The project will involve replacing damaged sections of the existing path and widening the footpath to improve safety and accessibility for all users.

The meeting will now be held at 11am and is open to members of the public.

Following community consultation earlier this year, as well as feedback from the City’s Disability Access and Inclusion Group, the Rotary Park playground will soon be upgraded.

The City of Busselton is planning to undertake road resurfacing works on Eagle Bay Meelup Road.

Applications for advertising at the Busselton Margaret River Airport are now open.

The Ironman WA event will be held on Sunday 7 December 2025, starting and finishing at the Busselton Foreshore.

The City Administration building and the Dunsborough and Busselton Waste facilities will close early on Friday 5 December 2025 from 12.00pm.

The Foreshore Markets on Sunday 7 December 2025 will be relocated to Lou Weston Oval on King Street, Busselton to accommodate the 2025 Busselton Ironman event at Signal Park.

Public Notice that the City has received a proposal and is considering disposing of this property, by way of lease, made under the Local Government Act 1995, Section 3.58 (3) and (4):

The City will be undertaking night road resurfacing works on Cape Naturaliste Road, Dunsborough.

The Naturaliste Community Centre carpark and access road will undergo resurfacing works starting Monday 17 November 2025.

The City of Busselton wishes to advise that road improvement works will be undertaken on Hairpin Road and North Jindong Road as part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades to improve road safety and surface condition.

The City will be undertaking a series of scheduled sand nourishment and beach maintenance works across several local sites in the coming weeks.

Tenders closing at 2.00pm, 12 December 2025 are invited for the above application.

Notice is hereby given under section 3.12(3) that the City of Busselton proposes to make the City of Busselton Activities in Thoroughfares and Public Places and Trading Local Law.

The City will be undertaking path renewal works along Elijah Circle and Parkview Boulevard, Vasse.

In accordance with Section 80(8) of the Local Government (Elections) Regulations 1997, the City is required to give local public notice of the results of the 2025 Local Government Election.

The City manages European rabbit populations through targeted seasonal control programs designed to reduce damage to native bushland and minimise nuisance impacts on residents.

As part of the City’s ongoing coastal management project, we’re about to commence works along the Busselton foreshore between King Street and Gale Street.

The City of Busselton will be undertaking drainage upgrade works along the Prince Street laneway.

The Community Access Session scheduled for Wednesday 22 October has been cancelled.
