This year's National Volunteer Week will be held 20 - 26 May 2024 with the theme "Something for Everyone".
To celebrate the week the following activities for community groups and support groups are being delivered:
Social Media Essentials

In today's digital age, it is essential for not-for-profit organisations to establish a healthy social media presence on prominent platforms. This workshop will provide you with the essential information you need to formulate a well-crafted social media strategy and tips and tricks for creating engaging content efficiently and enhancing brand awareness.

Grant Information Session

ConnectGroups and the City of Busselton invite local Support Groups and community groups to join them for a grants information session to learn about funding opportunities available. ConnectGroups will showcase its Pay it Forward and Dream it Forward small grants programs, and the City of Busselton will provide an overview of its community funding and grants.

Facilitated Networking Lunch

Join us for a facilitated session aimed at support groups, community groups, and community champions interested in learning more about what's happening in the local community. The event will include a 'Who's in the Room' session for participants to share information about their group and their work within the community, followed by a networking lunch.

Reframing Volunteering: Marketing volunteering for younger generations
