Gnuraren Mia

Gnuraren Mia is a nature based park area that is under development and includes a conservation area, bush walk trails (interpretation currently being developed) and an outdoor classroom.

The Classroom features smooth logs for chairs and tables that students can sit on, and sand for playing and marking.  This area is being revegetated and in the future the trees will provide shade.

Who should book this space?

Teachers, group leaders and anyone who has an interest in using an outdoor area for educational purposes. Schools and community groups are able to book this space for free. 

Maximum number of attendees

Up to 50 students and teachers can comfortably sit in the space

Important Information

  • There are no bins on site so please take everything with you. Tread lightly and leave nothing but footprints.
  • Drinking water is not available at the site.
  • There are public toilets located in the carpark of the Busselton Volunteer Marine Rescue Group - across Geographe Bay Road. The road is busy so supervision is highly recommended. (No universal access) 
  • Bus and car parking is available adjacent to the main entry.
