Friends of Reserves Groups
The City has an active Friends of Reserves Program with over 20 groups working in City bushland and coastal reserves. 
The City of Busselton recognises the valuable contribution volunteers make to the management and enhancement of the natural environment
- Ensuring volunteers are encouraged, supported and recognised is a priority for the City.
- Friends Groups play an integral part to the conservation and care of City reserves for present and future generations.

- Revegetation and weed control
- Flora and fauna surveys
- Interpretive signage and pamphlets
- Environmental monitoring
- Dieback treatment
- Community education and guided walks
- Seed collection
- Rubbish removal
- Citizen science projects
