In March this year, the Busselton Council resolved to extend the trial of hireable e-scooters until November 2024, to enable Neuron Mobility to attempt to address community concerns from the initial trial period. Neuron Mobility has commenced the installation of parking decals for designated parking areas specifically for hireable e-scooters in key locations between Busselton and Dunsborough to make it easier for users to identify exactly where they should be parked in these high use locations.
Decals will be rolled out along Busselton Foreshore, Geographe, Bussell Highway and Dunsborough Lions Park, at high use and prominent parking locations. Each location selected for its convenience to users and located in what has proven to be popular routes.
The decals will serve as a visual reminder to hirers the importance of properly parking their e-scooter once their ride is completed. As operators of the hireable e-scooters, Neuron Mobility will remain responsible for ensuring the decals remain in serviceable condition and are removed if no longer required.
