Proposed permanent closure of portions of public road Lynwood Street, Vasse

Pursuant to the Land Administration Act 1997, the City invites submissions to a proposal to close permanently two separate portions of public road along Lynwood Street, Vasse.

Referring to the map below, the two portions are located near the southern end of Lynwood Street. One portion of approximately 4,565 square metres adjoins Lots 8100, 9052 and 9521. The second portion of approximately 12 square metres adjoins Lot 9521. The areas do not include any part of the constructed road.

Should the road closures proceed in accordance with the Act, it is proposed the land areas are amalgamated with adjoining Lot 9521.

The City is seeking written submissions to the proposal by 26 July 2024. Submissions may be delivered by:

(a) email to city@busselton.wa.gov.au 

(b) post to the City of Busselton, Locked Bag 1, Busselton WA 6280; or

(c) handed to the Customer Service Desk, City Administration Office, Southern Drive, Busselton.
